The possibility of evil
By: Shirley Jackson
Prereading reflection
How do you define evil?
I define evil as hatred and/or something very cruel
If I suspect that someone is going to do something evil, although it would be difficult to change their mind I would try to talk them out of it.
I think the reason people like to say bad thing behind a persons back is, because they know they are doing something wrong and don't want to say it in front of that person.
The best way to respond to someone who does this is to try to come at peace with that person.
